چکیده

We extend our previous results on event-triggered agreement by proposing a triggering mechanism that is finite L2 gain stable with respect to additive disturbances in the open loop dynamics of the agents. Moreover, the control design is both distributed and provides strictly positive inter-execution times. Simulation examples support the derived theoretical results.

A lifting approach to ℒ2-gain analysis of periodic event-triggered and switching sampled-data control systems

In this work we are interested in the stability and L2-gain of hybrid systems with linear flow dynamics, periodic time-triggered jumps and nonlinear possibly set-valued jump maps. This class of hybrid systems includes various interesting applications such as periodic event-triggered control. In this paper we also show that sampled-data systems with arbitrarily switching controllers can be captu...

L2-gain Analysis for a Class of Hybrid Systems with Applications to Reset and Event-triggered Control: A Lifting Approach

In this paper we study the stability and L2-gain properties of a class of hybrid systems that exhibit linear flow dynamics, periodic time-triggered jumps and arbitrary nonlinear jump maps. This class of hybrid systems is relevant for a broad range of applications including periodic event-triggered control, sampled-data reset control, sampled-data saturated control, and certain networked control...

Nonlinear consensus via continuous, sampled, and aperiodic updates

We consider a first-order multi-agent system with nonlinear control protocols performing consensus. We first address the convergence properties of the continuous system. Then periodically sampled control inputs are treated, where we derive explicit upper bounds on the sampling interval to preserve global stability. Moreover, we design an aperiodic and event-triggered updating law to reduce the ...

Event-triggered output feedback control for networked control systems using passivity: Achieving L2 stability in the presence of communication delays and signal quantization

When network induced delays are considered in the event-triggered control literature, they are typically delays from the plant to the network controller and a tight bound on the admissible delays is usually imposed based on the analysis of inter-event time to guarantee stability of the event-triggered control systems. In this paper, we introduce a framework for output feedback based event-trigg...

Improved $Lcal_2$-Gain Analysis for a Class of Hybrid Systems with Applications to Reset and Event-Triggered Control

In this paper, we consider a special class of hybrid systems with periodic time-triggered jump conditions, and in which the jump map has a piecewise linear character. This hybrid systems class forms a relevant field of study as different control applications can be modeled in this hybrid system framework, including reset control and event-triggered control systems. After showing the unifying mo...
